Outdoor Bootcamp is a high-intensity class that features of blend of high-impact plyometric activities, agility work and bodyweight resistance training for the entire body. This class is best suited for intermediate-level fitness seekers, but can be tailored for members of all levels.
At LOGAN & CITY VISTA & GALLERY PLACE: Members are asked to meet the instructor right outside of VIDA at the start time of class, for check-in and temperature taking purposes.
At U STREET: This class takes place at one of U Streets outdoor sites - 4th floor sundeck or the rooftop pool deck.
At THE YARDS: This class takes place on the building's rooftop, at the Penthouse Pool & Lounge.
AT BALLSTON: Meet in the club lobby just inside the entrance, and your instructor will take it from there!
PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor classes may be altered, at the discretion of the instructor based on temperature and inclement weather.

Michaela has been a group exercise instructor and personal trainer since 2004. A former Division 1 field hockey player and coach, Michaela's style of teaching is athletic, energetic, educational and motivational.
Michaela has been with VIDA since 2018 as a Group Fitness Manager. At VIDA she teaches every format except for the yoga formats. Her favorite class to teach is BODYPUMP, though she claims not to have a "favorite fitness" child.
Michaela created VIDA's Stretch & Mobility class, which involves foam rolling, breathing and flexibility techniques for everyday athletes. She also spear-headed VIDA's Pole Fitness, Chair Fitness and Hot in Heels programs in the small group training department.
