Amy has a reputation for hosting challenging but, always fun rides. At the end of the day, it's a party on a bike however, she will encourage you to push yourself a little further. Hailing from the the Midwest, Amy grew up as a soccer player and a runner. When an injury set her back from both, she found her outlet with indoor cycling and has never turned back.

A Virginia Beach native, he played competitive volleyball in college and could not give up the active lifestyle, leading him to become a certified BODYPUMP instructor in February 2020. What he loves most about these classes is the steady-state burn you get from the repetitive weight lifting and the upbeat music that keeps you going. When not teaching, you can find him walking his dog around town and baking up a storm in the kitchen. Catch you in the studio!

Certified in spinning and Coach by Color, Jimmy’s classes are a mixture of strength, endurance, and speed workouts - all choreographed to the music. If you’re a fan of a hard but rewarding workout, with tons of great music, his class is for you. Jimmy encourages riders to reach out before class if they have any song requests, or if they have any questions about the workout, Coach By Color, or bike equipment. If you're new to a Coach By Color class, he recommends coming 10-15 minutes before class so you have enough time to get set up on the bike and also learn the color zones!

A former Division 1 field hockey player and coach, Michaela's style of teaching is athletic, energetic, educational and motivational. Michaela has been with VIDA since 2018, starting as a Group Fitness Manager, then elevating to Regional Group Fitness Manager. She is currently the General Manager of our Logan Circle location. At VIDA she teaches every format except for the yoga formats. Her favorite class to teach is BODYPUMP, though she claims not to have a "favorite fitness" child. Michaela created VIDA's Stretch & Mobility class, which involves foam rolling, breathing and flexibility techniques for everyday athletes. She also spear-headed VIDA's Pole Fitness, Chair Fitness and Hot in Heels programs in the small group training department. Certified in spinning and Coach by Color, Jimmy’s classes are a mixture of strength, endurance, and speed workouts - all choreographed to the music. If you’re a fan of a hard but rewarding workout, with tons of great music, his class is for you. Jimmy encourages riders to reach out before class if they have any song requests, or if they have any questions about the workout, Coach By Color, or bike equipment. If you're new to a Coach By Color class, he recommends coming 10-15 minutes before class so you have enough time to get set up on the bike and also learn the color zones!

General Manager | Former Regional Group Fitness Manager | Personal Trainer Michaela has been a group exercise instructor and personal trainer since 2004. A former Division 1 field hockey player and coach, Michaela's style of teaching is athletic, energetic, educational and motivational. Michaela has been with VIDA since 2018, starting as a Group Fitness Manager, then elevating to Regional Group Fitness Manager. She is currently the General Manager of our Logan Circle location. At VIDA she teaches every format except for the yoga formats. Her favorite class to teach is BODYPUMP, though she claims not to have a "favorite fitness" child. Michaela created VIDA's Stretch & Mobility class, which involves foam rolling, breathing and flexibility techniques for everyday athletes. She also spear-headed VIDA's Pole Fitness, Chair Fitness and Hot in Heels programs in the small group training department.
