Kris Urquizo first began regularly going to the gym at 18 years old to take control of his health and quickly discovered a passion for fitness. He cultivated that passion by spending as much as time as he could learning about training and the human body, even earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from the College of William & Mary. In the years since, he has worked in a variety of settings, including a physical therapy clinic and a powerlifting gym.
Kris has trained clients of all ages and abilities, from youth athletes to retirees who just want to move their bodies and stay injury free. He firmly believes that there is no one size fits all approach to fitness and works with every client to develop an individualized plan that will work for them. Above all, he enjoys empowering others to pursue whatever they enjoy and become their strongest, happiest self.
Outside of the gym, if Kris isn’t exploring the city, he’s watching foreign films or trying new baking recipes.
