Chris started practicing yoga in 2012 and completed his first 200-hour Teacher Training Certificate in 2013. Since then, he has taught over 3000 yoga classes and completed over 500 hours of training in western yoga asana styles (Power yoga, Rocket, Yin) and in India at Sattva Yoga Academy where he learned Pranayama, Meditation, Kriya and Mantra. Chris is Yoga Director for VIDA Fitness where he leads both 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training programs. He is also the creator and host of the DC Yoga Podcast (iTunes | soundcloud)
Deepen your discipline. Every weekend blends immersive study with dynamic physical practice—including early morning movement + meditation sessions on the Penthouse Pool deck (yes, it’s as good as it sounds). Expect real progress in anatomy, sequencing, philosophy, and the art of teaching—all in a tight-knit, motivated group.
This is where it all levels up. One full week dedicated to mastering technique, refining your voice, and building your confidence as a teacher. You’ll move, think, and live yoga from sunrise to sunset. It’s challenging, yes—but transformational is an understatement.
Step into leadership. As a 300-hour student, you’ll assist real-time in VIDA’s 200-hour YTT—reinforcing your own foundation while learning how to guide others. You’ll get hands-on with anatomy, pranayama, kriya, sequencing, and more. It’s about giving back, showing up, and growing stronger through experience.
