Jessy’s training is based on getting you excited to come to the gym while simultaneously achieving your goals. She aims to make fitness fun, with a focus on functional training. Whether yourgoal be based on strength/resistance training or working on your cardiovascular health— Jessy’s there for you all along the way!
Jessy is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Exercise Science. She also has experience working in orthopedic and cardiovascular rehabilitation. Jessy focuses on resistance training in a safe and effective manner for her clients. Growing up, Jessy played sports such as field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. It was through her field hockey workouts that she found her passion for weightlifting— if it involves a barbell, she’s all in! Jessy believes that coming to the gym should be a fun experience, regardless of your fitness level; and that a gym is a safe place where people come to work on becoming the best version of themselves.
