Angela Tamayo


Angela Tamayo’s passion for health and fitness started as a personal journey to lose weight, gain energy, strength, and boost self-confidence. After becoming a mom of two, and attaining her master’s degree in special education, she decided it was time to take better care of herself. In approaching thirty, she was in the worst shape of her life, and weighed around 190lbs. After a full year committed to her health, she lost about forty pounds. She even joined her first fitness competition in 2017! Fast forward to today, she is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, and MixxedFit (dance fitness) National Trainer. Now, in her forties, she is so much healthier than in her late twenties!

Throughout this journey, she developed a desire to help others do the same. She is passionate about strength training, nutrition, and mindset. She believes fitness is for everyone, optimal health is achievable, and we all deserve to feel good about ourselves inside and out. Let Angela help you get there!
