Alexandra Perry is a certified personal trainer with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). She graduated from Hope College with a degree in Psychology, and she is now in a fitness setting because she believes physical activity to be one of the best ways to positively affect mental health. The push from psychology into fitness came with a later-in-life diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. Alexandra uses fitness to help keep her blood sugar in range and as a form of empowerment to be the strongest & most able-bodied version of herself possible. She uses this mindset to encourage folks of any ability or age to get in the gym and find their strongest self.
Alexandra’s favorite ways to train clients include balance & stability, mobility, strength training, long distance running, and core work.
