Klayton Obra

The Yards

Klayton Obra is a certified personal trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and has been lifting since he was 15 years old. His fitness journey began in the Philippines, where he mainly practiced bodybuilding techniques. After immigrating to America in 2010, he started training professionally in March 2014. Today, he trains his body primarily through animal movements, mobility drills and powerlifting techniques to stay healthy long term and keep his joints strong. He believes that in fitness, results are achieved through the consistent practice of basic movements- nothing fancy. Since 2015, his clients have enjoyed increased flexibility, focus and energy, the absence of joint pain, better sleep and an increase in strength and muscle mass, which all result in a longer lasting body. He believes that in order for anything to grow, resistances must be gradually applied. He enjoys exploring ways to push others to be the best version of themselves. Aside from working and working out in a gym, he plays basketball, enjoys swimming, is always down for hiking, is constantly hunting speakeasies and will never ask for clues in escape rooms.
