James Glockenmeier is a highly experienced endurance athlete and National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. He comes from a family made up entirely of endurance athletes, including a mother who was a professional marathoner. He graduated from George Washington University: a student-athlete with a BS in Finance and Business. James’ training style focuses on building high endurance muscular strength and increasing cardiovascular efficiency. He also emphasizes functional strength to strengthen the body’s full range of motion. His goal is to create an efficient muscular system that maximizes the power output of activity while enduring a long training session. James is a very competitive and goal-oriented trainer who strives to bring lots of energy to each session, to encourage you to be competitive with yourself, and to reach your goals. He believes the most important aspect of working with clients is to create the desire to improve within them and give them the necessary training to help them achieve their goals.
