Our community needs us now more than ever! We have encouraged our staff members to volunteer at the facilities below when they have any extra time. We wanted to pass these volunteer opportunities to our members, too. Here are some of the many ways you can help.
All blood drives are currently put on hold, leaving a huge need for blood and platelet donations. Below are links to blood donation schedules for both American Red Cross as well as INOVA Blood. Both organizations are in need of donations and have multiple locations throughout the D.C. and Virgina area.

As you all know, COVID -19 exposure is especially dangerous for our senior community. Sign up to provide contact free grocery delivery and help a senior citizen receive their groceries without putting themselves at risk. A car is recommended but not required. Help someone experiencing a crisis from your home. This option does require 30 hours of training, but it can all be done from your couch.

In person adoption events are all currently postponed, so there is an abundance of dogs and cats that need a foster home until these events can be held again. Fostering an animal can save a life, and also be a loving companion during the crisis. If interested please fill out the application below. Please note it is a multi-step application process.
Help build and distribute care kits and family meals to those that work in the service industry and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. If you have any questions please email Frank at email@example.com. Spanish speaking volunteers are greatly needed.
