Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and must identify with an ethnic or racial minority.
VIDA has partnered with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to offer the highest standard of education and certification in personal training to 20 candidates. Scholarship winners will be automatically enrolled in a mentorship program that will provide them with resources to earn their Certified Personal Training (CPT) credential and realize their maximum potential for personal training greatness.

Only electronic scholarship applications received through the above process will be considered. Paper copies of applications, resumes or other materials will not be accepted.

The VIDA Diversity & Inclusion Board oversees the application and selection process. The Board will review the applications and narrow the list to semi-finalists. The semi-finalists will be invited to an interview with the Committee. Based on that process, 20 applicants will be awarded scholarships. Award recipients will be selected and notified via email.
All decisions of the Diversity Committee are final and are not subject to appeal. The program is competitive; not all applicants will be selected as semifinalists or finalists; not all finalists will be selected as recipients.
The deadline to submit your application is January 20, 2023.
Upon receipt, the VIDA Diversity & Inclusion Board will begin to review your application on a rolling basis. Applicants that are invited to interview will receive a scheduling request to complete their interview by March 15, 2023.
Once interviews have been completed, scholarships will be awarded by March 15, 2023. At that time, applicants will be notified via email. The email address on file must be active and you must check your email regularly.
