Tell us about yourself
I grew up in this area, and love adventure, travel and fitness. I am starting a beginner’s Italian class this semester, and hope to be able to use that language soon!
Why are you using a Personal Trainer to achieve your goals?
I first started training with Kevin almost 5 years ago to get in shape for a multi-day hike in higher altitude Peru. I have continued training with him because he has helped me meet my evolving fitness goals and needs, from getting into shape for other high altitude hikes to running a half marathon to recovering from a significant injury.
What do you like most about Kevin?
His upbeat personality, his caring about the whole person, and endless creativity in putting together different workouts for different goals and different moods. We’ve run steps and sprinted together, he’s trained me in the pool, and he has introduced me to TRX, the platform, the machines, and free weights. Variety is his middle name!
What is your main goal ?
Now that I’m feeling good post-injury, I want to intensify my workouts, heighten my fitness level, and prepare for another great hiking trip.
How has Kevin helped you reach your goals?
He is very motivating in a way that has kept my focus and interest. I often am on such an endorphin high when I’m done a workout with him, that it keeps me coming back for more. By helping me to feel strong and powerful in the gym, he has helped me feel strong and powerful outside the gym. The spill-over effect is awesome!
