Mike Ponder has been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years and is certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has been training clients one-on-one and leading group fitness classes since 2008 and brings several fitness modalities to his clients ranging from olympic weightlifting, high intensity interval training, traditional weightlifting and kettlebell training.
Mike’s training is ultimately tailored to each individual client, but he emphasizes the importance of overall wellness rather than focusing on only one style of fitness. Mike believes that healthy joints and flexibility are just as important as strength and endurance.
Mike excels at training clients of all levels and prides himself on his ability to explain and demonstrate complicated movement patterns and body mechanics in ways anyone can understand. Ultimately, Mike wants to see his clients succeed and be able to accomplish things they’ve always wanted or never thought they could.
