Jovon is a certified personal trainer with National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF), Functional Movement Screen Professional level 1, and certified in TRX suspension training. He has 25 years in athletic training in addition to his fitness training and earned a B.S in Sports Management with a minor in Psychology from Coppin State University in Baltimore MD. His passion for mental and physical health derives from years of playing competitive sports such as D2 Tennis, Boxing, Football, basketball, and baseball. As a Personal Trainer, he is passionate about his client’s overall success. He believes in the benefits of building a solid foundation with effective and efficient movement, increasing overall functional performance, core stability, flexibility, and stress management. His training style is challenging people to step out of their comfort zone and increasing their mind & body connection for more improved results. He likes to create a safe, motivating, and accountable training environment with S.M.A.R.T goals.
