Erik Strouse

Erik has been in the fitness industry his entire professional career after having pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion/Fitness Management and a Masters in Strength and Conditioning. He first got certified with ACE Fitness in 2006, and has been training clients since giving him 16 years of hands on experience. In addition to his ACE certification, BA, and MS, he is credentialed in Functional Movement Screening with his FMS Level 1, and various other certifications that include kettlebell training and training for seniors. His training style blends all genres of exercise from HIIT and traditional strength to functional training and mobility depending on his clients’ needs. He believes that exercise is about the long game and should never sacrifice safety for the sake of fueling an ego, and that everyone should work toward a flexible, supple body that moves through its natural ranges with ease.
