Rachel believes in taking a long-term sustainable approach to change, and making sure you don’t have to sacrifice your favorite foods while reaching your goals. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech, and her Master’s in Nutrition from Appalachian State University. She joins us at VIDA after working with athletes at the University of Virginia. While sports have always been a part of her life (soccer and ping pong), Rachel has a passion for powerlifting and has competed in multiple USA Powerlifting competitions. Rachel believes that nutrition should be personalized and wants to help you understand what’s best for your body! She thinks having the right nutrition plan can be the missing piece to achieving your wellness, fitness, and lifestyle goals. If she’s not lifting in the gym, you can find her trying to perfect her baking skills.
