Alex was born and raised in Fargo, ND. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from North Dakota State University and a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Tulsa. She spent the last three years working with college athletics, completing her dietetic internship and graduate assistantship focusing on performance nutrition at the University of Oregon and the University of Tulsa. Alex spent her adolescent/teens and part of college as a competitive dance team member, which sparked her interest in sports nutrition. Throughout personal and professional experiences, she has grown a passion for nutrition and performance fueling. Alex emphasizes a ‘food is fuel’ and ‘food first’ focus in her practice. She strives to help people utilize diet and lifestyle habits to achieve weight and body composition goals, enhance exercise/sport performance and improve overall quality of life and health from the inside-out. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring outdoors with her sweet rescue puppy, cooking, practicing yoga, running and spectating any and all sporting events!
