Cat Doyle
General Manager
Cat began her fitness career as a personal trainer at VIDA Gallery Place in 2013. In 2016, she took on the role of Personal Training Manager at VIDA Logan Circle before being promoted to General Manager in 2019. Cat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from Boston University. During her time at BU, she spent two years as an athletic training student, working with various athletic teams at BU and MIT. After graduation, she spent five years in the health policy world.
An avid golfer, she is a Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute Fitness Professional and is currently working with several clients to improve their golf swing. In her free time, Cat competes in local and regional weightlifting competitions as a part of CHFP Weightlifting Club, where she is coached by former US Olympian, Cara Heads Slaughter. Cat’s additional certifications include American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer (ACE), USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach, Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and TRX. During her time at VIDA she has also taught VIDA Barre, boot camp, TRX, and continues to teach Pilates Reformer.
Raul Carrion
Assistant General Manager
Growing up, Raul has always had an interest in the health and fitness field; Graduating with Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Fitness and Recreation, with a concentration in Sports Management at George Mason University. He has over 7 years experience training all types of clientele and is an excellent motivator. Certified by the National Council of Sport and Fitness (NCSF) and NASM as Corrective Exercise Specialist he’s able to give push his clients in a variety of way to hit their goals. In his free time, Raul enjoys watching and participating in sports, listening and dancing Latin music, and spending time with friends and family.
Nicholas Kripowicz
Personal Training Manager
Nick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, has a BS in Kinesiology from UMD, and is an official USA Powerlifting Club Coach. He specializes in creating highly personalized and responsive training programs centered around his client’s preferences. Nick believes that individual progress is the key to fitness, encouraging clients to make small improvements every day.
Michaela Brown-Jones
Group Program Manager
Michaela Brown-Jones joined VIDA in 2018 with over 12 years of gym manager experience and over 15 years of group fitness and personal training experience. Michaela started her fitness life in Washington, DC as the first African American woman to play on and captain Georgetown University’s Field Hockey Team. Her passion for fitness has taken her everywhere from coaching athletes at Sidwell Friends School to hosting fitness retreats on the beaches of Cancun. Michaela looks forward to building on an already forward-thinking fitness environment at VIDA by managing the company’s Pole Fitness and Chair Fitness programs, developing unique small group training programs, creating new classes and tons of other initiatives that further the bond between our members and staff.
