Growing up, Colleen played competitive sports and enjoyed the challenge of athletic workouts, which caused her to gravitate toward group fitness and personal training. She liked the similar challenge of group classes as well as their motivating and team-like atmosphere. While she started out as a cardio junkie, Colleen quickly recognized the benefits of strength and flexibility training, and she strives to help her clients find a fulfilling balance in their own fitness routines. She enjoys teaching yoga, cycling, kickboxing, Zumba, and strength conditioning classes. More than that, though, Colleen values input from members and uses it to develop a well-rounded class schedule and program offerings for VIDA Metropole.
Assistant General Manager
Jaramis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications from New Mexico State University and played professional baseball from 2008-2013. He began his career in the fitness industry in 2006 as a membership consultant and has a wealth of experience in overall facility operations. In his free time, Jaramis loves to spend time with his children, enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events.
Personal Training Manager
Enrique is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer and a VIDA Master Trainer. He helps clients define their goals, then assesses their abilities to perform a range of exercises, and creates a pathway for his clients to realize their goals. He emphasizes the correct form, movements and techniques to reduce risk of injuries, avoid muscle imbalances, and to increase muscle strength and endurance. Enrique has over 3 years experience in personal training and group fitness instruction including all forms of conditioning, small group training and TRX. As an ACE – Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, he has the expertise to help those who report being affected by knee, hip, lower back or shoulder pain, as well as those hindered by muscle imbalances or musculoskeletal disorders, or simply want help restoring function following orthopedic rehabilitation. As an ACE Sports Conditioning Specialist, Enrique’s strength and conditioning workouts combine intensity and creativity to make the program effective and enjoyable; after all, he believes exercising is a recreational activity, and everyone should enjoy doing it. Reaching your goals and have fun while doing it! – What could be better than that?
Group Program Manager
Chris has been involved with sports and fitness for over 20 years. From football, basketball, wrestling, and baseball in High School to weight lifting and triathlons more recently, Chris has a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Two years ago he made the switch from high impact training to the more mindful practice of yoga and now teaches at all VIDA locations. Chris is passionate about helping members reach their fitness goals and helping them develop a healthy and happy mindset that will benefit not only themselves but the entire community.
