Intergrated yoga, martial arts and meditation, Budokon is an exploration into the physical and spiritual body through movement. Basic yoga posture incorporated with kicking and punching along with martial arts ground fighting techniques offers the student an intense, exciting work out! Be prepared to sweat, have fun and experience the masterful movement that is Budokon. First time participants should take Budokon Basics before attendinng the more advanced Budokon class.

Group Centergy

Hatha Yoga
This class is for members who are well grounded in poses and practices of Yoga Basics and wish to deepen their hatha yoga practice. The class will refine standing poses and introduce strengthening preparations for backbends, inversions and arm balances. Enjoy growing your practice and celebrating the heart with Betsy as she drawsinspirations from the Anusara Yoga system.
Iyengar (rest. & inver) This one-hour Iyengar restorative/inversion class will teach you how to use yoga props like blankets, blocks and belt to support your body while you are in yoga poses. Such poses help quiet the mind and nervous system, reduce tension and improve circulation of the joints and muscles. One hour per week to take this class will help to create a sense of balance in yourself, and also reduce stress and fatigue in your entire body.
Iyengar Yoga
Created by B.K.S. Iyengar, is a form of yoga known for it's use of props, such as belts and blocks, as aids in performing asanas. Standing poses are emphasized to build strong legs, increased vitality, improve circulation, coordination and balance, ensuring a strong foundation for study of more advanced poses. Unlike more experiential approaches where students are encouraged to 'find their way' to the asanas by imitating the teacher, an Iyengar class is highly verbal and didactic, with misalignments and errors actively corrected.

Power Vinyasa Yoga
This is a vigorous, challenging class emphasizing a flow of poses connected with the breath incorporating sun salulations, standing and sitting asanas as well as inversions. An intermediate class for students with previous yoga experience. Based on the Ashtanga practice, this energetic class wilfl move students through sun salutations and vinyasa styled sequences, with arm balances, standing balance poses and inversions. With a regula practice, students will build strength and focus providing a firm foundation for their yoga practice.

Restorative Yoga
Relaxation is considered to be one of the most important aspects of yoga. Instead of us doing yoga, this class is when yoga does us and we allow our bodies to relax and rest deeply, which is different from sleep. We are all overextended and stressed and the antidote to our stressful life is to relax. This will be our point of reference and emphasis to let go and let be.

Yoga Basics is an introduction to the yoga principles of breath, alignment and relaxation. The class is guided through basic yoga postures that invigorate the body with increased strength, flexibility and range of motion, while calming the mind. Each class ends with a period of meditation. All levels welcome.
Yogalates
Yogalates is a neurological based movement system that stretches and strengthens all the major muscle groups, encouraging mobility. It focuses on executing movement with proper alignment and use of the correct muscle groups. Most forms of fitness training, even yoga by itself, work on the outer muscles. Yogalates also focuses on strengthening the inner muscles that support the skeletal system, creating "Core Stability".

Body Glide
This class is not for the unmotivated! It is a new innovative way to work out! Using little disks that the business person could carry in their brief case for a business trip, the participant learns how to glide their way to fitness. This class combines strength training, core training and cardiovascular fitness in a quick 45 minute workout. If you want to see how to get fit even when you don't have the gym with you when you are away, check out this work out! *** NOTE: This class is for any level but people that have wrist issues or severe back pain may want to consult the group exercise director before participating as the workout moves quickly, is very challenging and puts the participant in a plank or push up position a lot during the 45minute class.

This cycle class is designed to challenge event the most advanced of cyclists. Ride through steep inclines and tough terrain while testing your endurance. This is a 45 minute class but it will feel like you've been riding for a couple of hours once you finish. Remember all cycling classes are for any level rider, but make sure if yor are a beginner to come early & let the instructor know you are new to cycling.
Endurance Cycling
A cycling class for all fitness levels which will help increase your endurance and improve your heart rate. A class that will be a great enhancement to triathlon training, weight loss/toning, strength training, or your chosen sport. Bring water and a towel and let's ride!
